A project that is a real case study for its level of difficulty combined with the distance. A great many connections, and almost no joint between members was
square, and the final result was so pleasing that the owner chose not to cover the frame with a suspended ceiling but to leave it exposed.
Vertical addition in Dafni, Korfovouni, Arta
A structure with many demanding connections and a finish so clean that the owner redesigned the interior to suit the frame. The new steel columns sit on the existing reinforced concrete columns, with anchor bolts in drilled holes set with chemical anchoring, after we surveyed the existing condition with a total station. On the roof, which in the end became a three-slope roof, the purlins were placed between the main beams to gain height.

The frame was interrupted by the neighboring building, so a three-dimensional survey by the surveyor was needed.
There was not a single problem during installation, despite the very high level of difficulty, thanks to our professional collaborators Tekla detailers and the robotic automatic cutting and drilling system of the partner fabrication plant. All our collaborators did excellent work.
