RENTAL ROOMS ON SKYROS
5 two-story buildings with a steel frame, a mat foundation and walls built with a drywall system and 8 cm ETICS external thermal insulation (EIFS), with a total insulation thickness of 18 cm. From the outside they look like the white houses of the island. Inside, we left the steel beams and the concrete ceiling exposed in the double-height spaces, and around them there are courtyards, pools and steel pergolas. The slabs are solid reinforced concrete, poured in formwork. In these buildings we have combined, successfully we believe, industrial design with the traditional architecture of Skyros.
