Building mezzanine in Marousi

A mezzanine for heavy loads, long spans and an irregular grid of load-bearing elements in the existing building. Before the mezzanine went in, the ground-floor columns were repaired at their base, with protection of the corroded rebar and increased confinement. The new steel beams were anchored to the existing concrete elements at positions marked on site.

Area: Marousi

Services we provided: Structural design. Construction
